Here is the ice cream cake I made to celebrate Independence Day. I made one layer "red" (looks more like pink) and then had a layer of vanilla ice cream, then one layer of "blue" (that turned out more greenish blue). Jacob said that it looked more like the Mexican flag. Oh well. It was delicious though.

Jocelyn's 4th Birthday Cake
Jocelyn wanted a chocolate cake with pink frosting and purple flowers and an Ariel princess on top of the cake. I think it turned out great. She loved it and had fun putting on the flowers on the cake along with her Ariel toy.

Jacob's Birthday
I love this family picture =). I made this cake 4 days after giving birth to Eveie. It was worth making, even though it took me longer than it would usually. The girls and I surprised Jacob with Luigi on top of his cake. I am glad that I was still able to make Jacob his cake for his birthday. I love you Jacob!

Natalie's 2nd Birthday Cake
The cake on the right is the one that I made for Natalie's 2nd birthday while we were in Arizona. The cake on the left is the one that I used for inspiration =). Natalie loved that cake and talks about it every time she watches Cinderella.

Fire Truck Cake
This was a cake I made for one of Natalie's friends who was turning two. It was so much fun to see the little boy's face light up when he saw his cake. All the hard work was worth it. =) I had a blast making this cake. It was just normal chocolate cake mix and buttercream frosting . Everything is cake (I used 3 cake mixes). The kids especially loved the green grass! (which was my favorite part)

Jocelyn's 2nd Birthday
I always wanted to post these, but I guess I forgot. Here are some pictures from Jocelyn's 3rd birthday. I made her a Maisy cake that she loved! I loved making it too although it took me a while to make. It was my first time working with marshmallow fondant. It actually turned out pretty tasty. It was a banana cake with cream cheese frosting inside. When I asked her what she wanted on her cake she said Maisy, Tallulah, and Charley. Then after I was finished making the cake she asked me why Eddie wasn't on the cake! I told her she didn't say that she wanted him on there and there wouldn't have been room for him. For those who are not familiar with Maisy, Eddie is the big elephant! Haha.
Natalie's 1st Birthday
I don't think I ever posted these pictures of Natalie's first birthday. We were in Arizona with Jacob's family when we celebrated her birthday. I made her a Chinese cake with fruit inside and at that time Natalie was into Cinderella and could even say "Cinderella." That was why I used the same Cinderella figure from Jocelyn's 2nd birthday cake. The Cinderella figure was from my cake when I was little. Thank you mom for saving it!
Pokeball Cake
Here is a Pokeball cake from Pokemon. I decorated the cake for my friend's son's 10th birthday. It was so fun decorating this cake. I love any reason to make/decorate a cake!

Frog Cake
Here is the frog cake I made for our church Primary's birthday. It's going to be one of the cakes the kids can win on the cake walk.
