Natalie's 1st Birthday

I don't think I ever posted these pictures of Natalie's first birthday. We were in Arizona with Jacob's family when we celebrated her birthday. I made her a Chinese cake with fruit inside and at that time Natalie was into Cinderella and could even say "Cinderella." That was why I used the same Cinderella figure from Jocelyn's 2nd birthday cake.The Cinderella figure was from my cake when I was little. Thank you mom for saving it!

Pokeball Cake

Here is a Pokeball cake from Pokemon. I decorated the cake for my friend's son's 10th birthday. It was so fun decorating this cake. I love any reason to make/decorate a cake!

Yummy All Fruit Smoothie

Who needs McDonalds all fruit smoothie when you can just make some at home? I actually never tried their smoothies, but heard that they were pretty good. I love my Magic Bullet because you can drink out of the same cup you make your smoothie in. Here is another all fruit smoothie recipe:

1 ripe banana
1/3 - 1/2 c frozen strawberries
1/3 - 1/2 c froze blueberries
Orange juice to cover 3/4 of the fruit
Enough water to cover the fruit
1 T honey

Blend and enjoy! I am enjoying one right now. =)

Family Picture

I can't believe that I forgot to post "the" family picture with the other ones. This was the best one of us. I think we did a pretty good job. I had to set up the tripod and run over in time for the picture. Natalie insisted that she had to sit on my lap. =)

Family Pictures

Here are some family pictures we took on Labor Day at a near by park. The weather was great for flying a kite! The kids had a blast eating their lollipops too. Natalie liked to bite her lollipop, while Jocelyn only wanted to lick hers. Of course Natalie drooled all over her shirt and got her face, neck, and hair all sticky! What a fun day!

Here are some pictures that I took of the girls after church on Sunday. They are wearing their new dresses from their Popo (my mom). Jocelyn really wanted to find a pink dress that she could twril in and she was so excited when we found her dress! Natalie didn't want a matching pink dress and chose the blue green dress. I love seeing my girls all dress up... and they are growing up fast!

Good News!

Yay! We are expecting another baby! How exciting!

Here is the ultrasound I got at my first prenatal appointment.
The baby is healthy and is about 10 weeks here. I am due on Jacob's
birthday (February 26, 2011). I am feeling a lot better now. I am
about 12 weeks today, so about 3 months along. Food does not sound as
good as before. Everything smells bad. I try to cook a little as
possible. Jacob has been a great help even though he is super busy on
his internal medicine rotation right now. He helps me cut up the food
so I don't have to smell it. Jocelyn is excited to have another baby.
She really wants to have another sister... "I want to have another
Natalie" haha. We won't get to know if it is a boy or girl until I am
about 20 weeks pregnant, so we will keep everyone posted.

Jocelyn's First Haircut

I cut Jocelyn's hair today!!! I loved her hair long, but it was getting too long... (she would chew on her hair). This was my first time cutting hair ever! I think I can say that I did a pretty good job. I would have liked Uncle Bret to cut it when we went down to Arizona, but Jocelyn was scared and would only allow either Jacob or me to cut her hair. After seeing her cousins get hair cuts from Uncle Bret, she wanted me to cut her hair right when we got back from Arizona. She begged me to cut it today and so here are the results! Jocelyn is so cute!
