My Hair

Hmm... so last Sunday morning I decided to cut my own bangs... just for fun. Look #2 doesn't seem like me, but it's fun to look different.

Smoothies

Jocelyn and Natalie chugging down a smoothie. Jacob and I couldn't believe how fast they finished this smoothie. The smoothie was made up of a banana, strawberries, juice, water, carrot mango baby food, and raspberry sherbet. YUM! I don't think I can live without my magic bullet =).

So I forgot that I had left the Kix cereal box on the floor and this is what happened... I just had to laugh and take a picture. It looked like she was enjoying it =)

Natalie's First Birthday

This was the cake I made for Natalie's first birthday. It was a sponge cake with whipped cream frosting and fruit inside. The flowers are made with royal icing.

It was fun celebrating her birthday in sunny Arizona!

Reading

Both Jocelyn and Natalie love books. They love to sit in on their Disney Princess couch together, but Jocelyn has to sit on Cinderella's side and Natalie has to sit on Belle's side... (and Natalie likes to sit on Cinderella's side when her sister is not watching). Jocelyn even tries to read to Natalie. It is so cute to see them reading together. Natalie caught me taking the picture so she tried to come after me. Oh well, this picture will do.

Natalie loves Little People

This was Natalie at 10 1/2 months playing with the Little People house. It would occupy her for a long time. She loves to ring the door bell and have the mommy and daddy come into the house.

"Noooo"

Natalie has just recently learned the word "no" and she loves to say "nooooo" to everything Jocelyn says. I guess Natalie just doesn't want to be bossed around. =)

Valeria's Senior Portraits

After driving around for more than an hour, we finally found a place to take some pictures. It was fun taking pictures of Valeria, and I can't wait to take more. Here are some of my favorites.

December Already?

I can't believe it is December already and that means that Natalie is going to be one this month!! So weird. Natalie has been talking a lot more too. Ever since we got here in Utah she has learned how to say "po po" (grandma in Chinese), "xie xie" (thank you), "tui tui" (leg), "rella" (Cinderella), "yao yao" (rock), "hai yao" (more), "jia sen" (Jocelyn), "bao bao" (hug), "bao" (bread)... that's all I can remember right now... and these are the words that she just started to say since November 17! It's fun to hear her talk more. She has also been more snuggly =).

Being December... I am sad that I won't get to spend my birthday with Jacob. Luckily Jacob was able to be in Utah for a few days for Thanksgiving. I did have a fun early birthday date with Jacob. We went out to eat Mexican food, then went to Roxberry Juice for some smoothies, and then got a redbox (The Proposal). It was fun to just be with and talk to Jacob. I couldn't ask for more.
